As principal tutor, Alex is in charge of developing recipes, training professional chefs, teaching amateur cooks, creating courses and promoting great veggie food for Cordon Vert and the Vegetarian Society.

Alex, a vegetarian for 20 years, has a background in teaching but his passion for food has always shone through his career. Whether cooking on a budget at college for himself and friends, teaching school pupils how to cook, demonstrating at food festivals, large scale catering for the Youth Hostel Association or cooking at an elderly peoples home, cooking has always been there.
