Function Styles & Layouts Available

Below is a list of layout styles we can offer our clients here at Parkdale. We can provide coffee/refreshments on arrival and throughout the day plus working lunches if required.

Conference - Boardroom
Best Suites: Discussion groups or board meetings
Recommended Maximum Attendees: 20

This is our standard meeting set up style. In this all attendee's are seated around a single table. This gives the group maximum workspace and allows excellent interaction. This is useful for meetings where handouts or written exercises need to be carried out.

Conference - Hollow
Best Suites: Discussion groups or board meetings
Recommended Maximum Attendees: 20

Similar to the boardroom style except tables are arranged into a square so that the middle is left empty. This set up is useful for groups who do not require items to be passed between deligates. 

Classroom
Best Suites: Presentations where notes are required
Recommended Maximum Attendees: 16

Rows of tables are set out with chairs facing the speaker or head table. This set up is ideal for presentations or meetings where notes or exercises need to be written out.

Networking (Open Room)
Best Suites: Networking buffet functions
Recommended Maximum Attendees: 30

For this set up we keep the room empty except for the very essentials (e.g. buffet table). This lay out is ideal for groups who primary goal is networking.

Theatre
Best Suites: Presentations.
Recommended Maximum Attendees: 30

In this style rows of chairs are set out facing a head table or PowerPoint presentation. This setup is good for events where minimum interactive is needed from the audience to the speaker(s) and taking notes or doing written exercises is not imperative.

U-Shape Table Style
Best Suites: Meetings with presentations
Recommended Maximum Attendees: 14

As the name suggests tables are set out in a U-shape with all the chairs around the outside. This setup is good for meetings where a presentation is also required as no attendee's will be seated with their backs to the speaker and it allows the speaker easy interaction with the attendee's.
