By Car:
'Parkdale' is on Dunham Road, Altrincham (A56) on the southerly outskirts of Altrincham (located at the A symbol on this map).

If approaching from the south, leave the M56 at junction 7 and at the roundabout take the third exit signed A56 Altrincham.

If approaching from the north, take the M60 ring road round Manchester, then join the M56 following the signs towards Manchester airport. Leave the M56 at Junction 7 and at the roundabout take the third exit signed A56 Altrincham.

By Train:
A tram service (Metrolink) runs from Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria stations direct to Altrincham Interchange. If you are arriving at Deansgate Station you can catch the Metrolink from the G-Mex across the road via the connecting foot bridge.

If you are travelling to Altrincham from the south you can change at Stockport if you wish and travel direct to Altrincham via the Chester train. Note that there is only one train per hour from Stockport to Altrincham. Alternatively you can continue to Manchester Piccadilly to catch the Metrolink. Trams from Manchester depart to Altrincham approximately every 10 minutes.

By Bicycle:
Parkdale has an open style bike shed which can be used by students to store their bicycle for the duration of the course. Please note that bicycles are not permitted on the Metrolink.

By Bus:
We are not on a bus route so recommend students travelling this way travel to Altrincham town centre and walk or get a taxi from there.

Taxi Services:
A taxi rank is situated outside Altrincham on the main road and the fare to the Vegetarian Society is around £3-£4. Their telephone number is 0161 941 2222.

By Air:
We are about 15 minutes drive from Manchester International Airport. A taxi rank and a regular bus service (the number 19) operate from the airport to Altrincham Interchange.
